Founded in 1978 by K.Franks and his wife Dianne, both proud graduates of The University of Texas at Austin, K's Motorsports has thrived as a family-owned and operated business dedicated to fostering exceptional customer satisfaction. From its humble beginnings with Humble Yamaha, the dealership has continuously evolved, expanding its offerings and enhancing its services in response to the growing needs of its loyal customer base. The passion and dedication that K and Dianne brought to the business set a high standard that continues to this day. Their remarkable sales performance earned them numerous accolades and established K as a respected leader in the motorcycle dealership community. Notably, K served multiple terms as President of the Greater Houston Motorcycle Dealers Association and spent two decades on the Board of Directors of the Texas Motorcycle Dealers Association. Under their stewardship, K's Motorsports expanded its product lines and physical space, transitioning from K's Humble Yamaha, Suzuki, Polaris to the more concise and recognizable K's Motorsports, which now also includes Kawasaki as part of its diverse inventory.

Following the passing of Dianne in 2003, the Franks family remained committed to the dealership's legacy, with daughters Deanne and Kourtney continuing to uphold the family values that have defined K's Motorsports. Deanne assumed full ownership in 2016, ensuring that the dealership not only maintains its reputation for quality but also deepens its community connections. K's Motorsports is proud to be actively involved in local outreach, having supported various organizations such as The Northeast Mission, Humble ISD and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, demonstrating its commitment to giving back to the community that has supported its success.

With a focus on growth and customer experience, K's Motorsports has undergone multiple expansions, including the addition of a new showroom dedicated to quality used motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles. The dealership has also hosted renowned motorcycle racing athletes during open-house events, including Jeremy McGrath, Mike LoRocco and world champion Kevin Schwantz, further solidifying its status as a hub for motorcycle enthusiasts.
